The Highlands Ranch High School FCCLA has had a very busy October. The chapter had a Pumpkin Painting Contest. The winning pumpkins were displayed at the school and local retirement homes. Also the officers had a retreat and began preparation for their Food and Clothing Drive and Thanksgiving Baskets. This year they are informing the school about FCCLA by using the Press Play theme. Their theory is that if more students in the school know about FCCLA, then they may reach their first goal of increasing membership. Helping their community is the second goal. It looks like the October chapter activities are helping them to reach their goals --- Way to go Highlands Ranch FCCLA!!!! May you find your inner rock star throughout the year. Marie Newby |

The Silver Creek High School FCCLA has been doing great things in October. The members have been fundraising with a project called “You’ve Been Booed.” They also participated in “Trick or Treat Street” which was held at the high school and was hosted for the entire community. The Silver Creek chapter’s goal for October was to increase their participation in community service projects. It seems like they are making great progress toward that goal. Way to go Silver Creek High School FCCLA - Go Platinum and keep striving toward your goal! |
