September 2008- Worked in collaboration with EcoCycle in educating people about recycling including: Manned recycling locations at the event; Made and handed out pamphlets on recycling; Had a recycling craft booth for children "Trash to Treasures" involving planning items to make from trash, collecting items, setting up a booth and helping children with the crafts. |

8th Grade Career Expo |
November 2008 - Acted as hosts for Adams County 8th Graders; monitoring the flow of traffic, addressing concerns, monitoring behaviors, and more, among the more than 3,000 middle schoolers. |

Blankets for the Homeless |
Procured donations from stores and individuals for funds to purchase fleece fabrics from which 20 fringe-tied fleece balnkets were made. The blankets were then donated to Goals for distribution to the homeless in the Bollman TEC district. |
